Our two Northern Virginia locations in Arlington and Shirlington are accepting new patients and have same-day appointments available. The Shirlington office, our primary location, has plenty of free parking and is conveniently located for residents of Arlington, Shirlington and Alexandria. Our satellite office, on Virginia Hospital Center's Arlington campus, is located among other Hospital medical and surgical specialty practices with which our patients may have appointments. In addition, both locations have in-office laboratory services available for your convenience.

All of our Primary Care Physicians are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and focus on preventative care as well as diagnoses and management of both acute and chronic illnesses. Our doctors strongly believe in good health maintenance and disease prevention with an emphasis on personalized patient education.

Medical Associates of Arlington specializes in the following:

• Focus on preventative medicine, preventative care, disease prevention and good health maintenance. Emphasis on personalized patient education.

• Acute illnesses such colds, flu, upset stomach, infections such as upper respiratory tract infections, and additional services and preventative care.

• In-office Lab Services available in both the Arlington and Shirlington offices.

• Ongoing care for chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure/hypertension, high cholesterol and thyroid issues.

• Routine immunizations/shots and travel vaccinations.

• Annual physicals, school/camp/ adoption physicals and pre-travel physical exams and lab tests for State Department and Department of Defense (DOD) employees.

• Most insurance plans accepted, including Medicare, most local area PPOs including Blue Cross and a select group of HMOs - CareFirst HMO, Aetna HMO and all TriCare products. See full list of insurances accepted.
